Hi just wondering if it is possible to have a people picker field auto populate based on the the value of another field. Say i have 2 lists on sharepoint; "Jobs" and "Tracker". These 2 lists have 2 common fields (job number and manager), the manager field is the people picker field which allows you to select multiple people while the job number filed is the number assigned to a job. The "Jobs" list is always populated before the "tracker" list and what i would like to do is auto populate the manager field on the "Tracker" list based on the job number entered. so for example say i have an job entry on the "Jobs" list as follows: job number = 2 , and managers = john, mark and mary. I would like to then go to the "tracker" list and enter "2" as the job number and automatically populate the managers field with the values "john, mark and mary. Can this be done with a people picker ?

I'm not sure how your form is set up but auto-populating a People Picker group should be possible. Please check the form I am attaching which uses a button to populate the Display Name, Account ID, and Account Type with the proper values. Download  the form, left click and select Design to open the form and see the approach. Does this approach work for you?
