InfoPath 2013 Form drop down auto populates text boxes from SharePoint 2010 Lists issue

I have designed an InfoPath Form with a drop down box.  Once a choice is made from the drop down, two additional text box fields within the form are populated with data pulled from a SP List.  This is working fine until any data within the SP List is edited.

    For example:

The SP List field data is Review & Update

The InfoPath Form field populates with Review & Update

I edit the SP List data from Review & Update to Review and Update

Now the InfoPath Form field populates with    <div class="ExternalClassD07737BFEDC04726A9BE86990348B5CC">Review and Update EWO</div>

no matter how I edit the SP List data it adds coding to the InfoPath Form text box.  How do I fix this?

    Thank you in advance.

I would create a new list without the ampersand and try with that.
