    updating SharePoint list with qRules

I am using qRules to update a SharePoint list from an infopath filler form repeating table.    The qrules SubmitToSharePoint command works great when I read in filtered data into the repeating table from the SharePoint list, make edits, and then read back to the list using SubmitToSharePoint.   I am also able to add a new blank record to the repeating table in the form and then create a new item in the SharePoint list.  The problem is that if I add a new record to the repeating table that is already in the SharePoint list (by populating the SHP ID in the repeating table with the correct SharePoint list ID), it does not save the updates in the SharePoint list.   I am guessing that it has something to do with the SHP ID field in the repeating table and how maps to the SharePoint ID.   I have set up the mapping correctly in qRules, and everything updates correctly except for the new SharePoint list record added to the repeating table.    I would appreciate any assistance provided on this issue.  Thanks.

If you add the Qdabra Rules Error node (from the QdabraRules data source) do you get any errors when you attempt this? You are setting the column that you have mapped as the SharePoint ID to a valid list item id?

Yes . . . apparently one of the fields had incorrect data which prevented the entire list item from updating.   Thanks for the tip!

I have a follow up question . . .is there anyway that I can 'refresh' the repeating table with upates made in the SharePoint list without executing the QUERY again?   After I execute my initial QUERY add my additional SharePoint items to my repeating table, I do not want to wipe them out by performing the Query again.    I would like to be able to save my custome made repeating table with my filler form, but have a way to update from SharePoint list to the repeating table when the form is open.   I am assuming I can do this if each repeating table row has a SharePoint List ID to reference.

    Thanks!

Well apparntly the fix was short lived . .. for some strange reason I am recieving the error again when I try to save a new entry into the repeating table.  When I do CTR-SHIFT-O on the error, I get the following message:

"The form contains the following errors:"

    "Field or group: #text
Error: No exact match was found."

Do you have any suggestions on what may be causing the error?

Not without seeing your form - any chance you can attach it under the Options tab in a reply?

The form is a little too big to post .. . can I send directly to your email?.   The TASK repeating table is the one that is not saving added TASKS.   The other wierd thing is that I am able to get the data to save in PREVIEW mode, but when I load the form from the library in SharePoint, and run, I get the error.  Thanks for your assistance.
