    Publishing problem

After publishing a form successfully using the publishing wizard, my InfoPath Form project (in VS2005) seems to get messed up and won't publish correctly anymore.

Normally when I choose "publish" I get a screen with a few options on where to publish. I use the option that says, "To a SharePoint server with or without InfoPath Forms Services."

The next time I go to publish the same form, it takes me to an entirely different screen that has no option buttons and merely asks for the path where the application should be published. If I give it a path and continue, it gives me an error message saying, "Publish is only valid for 'Windows Application' or 'Console Application' project types."

It seems to forget that this is an InfoPath project, that InfoPath form projects can be published, and that it should use a different publishing wizard.

I've seen this a couple of times and end up starting over creating a new project. What is happening? How can I fix it?

    Thanks in advance!

    More information...

This happens after I have edited the manifest.xsf file to point to a different DCL. Maybe you're not supposed to do that, but how else do you update the form template if the DCL location changes?
