Mandatory save value for infopath 2003

    Hi all,

I've developed an infopath app which hosted on the sharepoint 2k3 server and it's been working fine. when users try to save, my program will pre-fill the value for the save location and file name. Until recently some people changed the default value in the save dialog box so I wondered if it is possible which when a user use either save or save as, the program will bypass the dialog window but save the file with default information instead. So it is pretty much mandatory save value for infopath. Thanks ahead.

    Hi Welcome to the Forums,

It is mandatory to provide a value to save infopath form. By default it will save the infopath form as Form1 and form2......

We can also pass the name for infopath to save(uisng fields in infopath form and using GUID) instead of default one.

I hope this will help for you.

    Thanks.
