InfoPath People Picker Browse/Search in SharePoint 2013

We are having lots of issues with the People Picker in InfoPath browser forms on SharePoint 2013.

IP Form is 2013 and IE 11 view compatiblilty is off Browse Icon works but you can only use it once. It does nothing the second time that you click it.

IP Form is 2010 and IE 11 view compatiblilty is off Browse Icon does nothing

IP Form is 2013 and IE 11 view compatiblilty is on Browse Icon throws JSON is Undefined

IP Form is 2010 and IE 11 view compatiblilty is on Browse Icon does nothing

IP Form is 2007 and  IE 11 view compatiblilty is on Browse Icon works just fine

I have spent a couple days googling for fixes but none of them have worked. Is anyone else having issues with SharePoint 2013 and the InfoPath People Picker? Did you find a fix?

I am having exactly same issue. Any solution? It works fine with Google Chrome but not IE 11 and FireFox.

Nope.  We opened a ticket with Microsoft.  They recognized it as a bug, but will not be fixing it.  Their workaround is to go to the Form's Options and select "Show InfoPath commands in Ribbon or toolbar".  This fixes the browse issue but gives you an unwanted Ribbon.

So we are creating our own people picker based off a custom employee directory list that we have in SharePoint.
