Change in Form Template SharePoint location causing linking Issue

Hi,

My Infopath forms(originally developed in IP 2003 and later enhancements using IP 2007 [backward compatibility]) were published to SP 2007 site. Now we are moving to SP 2010 site and am successfull in publishing all my forms to SP 2010 site. Also am able to fill and submit forms after publishing to SP 2010 site. Problem is all with how to open previously(before moving to SP 2010 site) submitted forms .

when am accessing already submitted forms they still look for the old template and throwing an error like below.

"Infopath Cannot open the following file C:\Users\ [Local Path.....here]. To open the file, access to the follwoing form template is required: file :///C:\Documents and Settings...[Local Path]"

Please note that My form data is stored in a SQL database in XML format and am thinking I cannot use Re-Linking in this scenario.

Any suggestions on how to reroute my submitted forms to new SP 2010 template link?

Hello Daisy510,

It sounds like you may just need to relink the documents. In your process, did you upload the old XML documents to the new library in SharePoint 2010? If so, simply navigate to the library current view > relink documents. Once you are in this view, select the older documents and relink.
