    Error on Submit

I have uploaded my template to the server and activated on the site.  Comes up in the browser.  GREAT!  But when I submit, I get this error:

Error ocurred submitting data to list: Request for the permission of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.Security.SharePointPermission, Microsoft.SharePoint.Security, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c' failed.

    ARGH!  What does that mean?

Well, didn't get any answer for this, but did find an article that said to change the this:

       <trust level=”WSS_Medium” originUrl=”” />

to the applications web.config file, system.web section.

This was done, and now getting error:

Error ocurred submitting data to list: Request failed.

The developer couldn't find any error actually occurring.

Is there some information I could send to hopefully get this figured out?  I am kind of on a time crunch to get this proof of concept form done, and have basically committed to using qRules.

Hi - sorry for the delay - would you be able to attach a copy of your template in a reply to this message under the options tab? When you say you are getting an error on submit - are you executing a particular command at that point?

Thanks!  I am executing the SubmitToSharePointList command.  There are 3 in the form...all are failing.

Attached is the form template.  Let me know if you need more!

FYI...don't know if I mentioned it, but this works great from InfoPath...

Okay, the first thing I would try is to add a rule on the QdabraRules data source finishedLoading attribute to set the useWebServices attribute to true. You'll want a condition on the rule - if finishedLoading = true, set useWebServices to true. This will then set the form to use SharePoint web services for the submit, just like the form does in filler.

Okay, you lost me.  =(  Where do I add the rule?

Here is a copy of your form with the rule in place. It is on the finishedLoading attribute in the QdabraRules data source (first screenshot image in my reply above).

Thanks!  I had guess right!  Deployed and now it opens with no data...getting this error:

He's looking at it, but wondered if you had an idea as to why this happened?

Hmmm. Opens with no data? So, it was opening with data before we made this minor rule change, you then re-published it, and now you get errors on queries that were succeeding before?

That's correct.  ARGH!  The developer is asking about the "clientinstalled=true" statement, and if that can be removed.  Not sure if he's grasping, or if this is a legitimate request.  Thoughts?

Isn't that just the URL generated by IPFS when you open the form in SharePoint?

I can't imagine there is a way around that. That is the URL from SharePoint when you try to open the browser form. Unless you have a link someplace that is being used to open the form?

The form does have list data connections that execute when the form is opened. Are those lists on the same site the form is currently being used on?

The lists are on the same site collection as the form, but in a subsite of the location of the form template.

You are admin deploying the template, right? And it is used in the browser? How about trying setting the template to full trust and redeploy it?

Developer says I have to wait until 3:00 to redeploy.  =/  I will do what you say and try it!

Redeployed and still have the same error.  I do notice something, however.  If I look at the properties of the form in the form template library, it says it's Version is 1.0.0.39. However, the form is version 1.0.0.48

Unable to deactivate.  ARGH!  Developer rebooting farm tonight.  More tomorrow...
