Hi, I am publishing a InfoPath 2010 browser Enabled form(multi-view) in SharePoint 2013, and adding as a InfoPath web-part across different tabs(Jquery UI), i have a multi-line text box as auto-expand, which works fine, the only issue is it is only limiting to one line of text, and when i hover over the text box and press enter, it displays all the lines in the text box which was hidden prior to hitting enter, however in my form library, it displays all the text and lines properly, Also, the default tab at the page load, displays all the lines in the text box, but as i open another tab without the page load, now it only limits to 1 line in the text box If someone could please shed some light and provide a solution, I will really be thankful. What happens when you expand the size of the text box to an actual pixel amount? Also, does the form do this when opened from the library, or only when displayed as a web part?

Sometimes web parts exhibit different behaviors than if the form is actually opened in the browser. I would suggest changing the settings of the text box to see if it has an affect on what is displayed in the web part.

Hi Bre, Thank you kindly for your suggestions. The form works as expected (auto expand) when opened from library, its only displaying limited line as a web part. The other settings such as having scroll bar is working properly, i can give the text box a certain height and then enable the scroll bar option, but I am looking for a ways to having it as auto expand with proper display, is there a better way i can configure it, while have auto expand and not limiting the lines of the Multi-line text box? Also the rich-text behaves differently! Will appreciate your Suggestions again. :) Thank you, Sunny

Hello Sunny,

Unfortunately there is not a good way to eliminate the scroll bar in the browser, without setting a height for your text box. This is because of the different variables in the browser, and you may even experience different behaviors between browsers. I think the best solution may be to set a maximum for your text box.
