Hello Guys, i am using infopath form in browser and i want to display the identity field value when user submit the form to sharepoint library.
for this i did this workaround
"i created a new retrieve connection with the name "GetLatestID" and on page load i set a rule SetHiddenFieldValue which i am getting from this connection and displaying this hidden value in next view "application submitted with "hiddenvalue"" it would be like Application submitted and its ID is xxxx. but when i submit first form it is displaying empty for this i just concatenate 1 in formula as ID+1 so it is displaying the correct ID.
Problem here is when i delete all the forms from list and say i save 12 records and then deleted now when user submit new form, ID is again zero and i have 0+1=1 but the actual ID in the list is 13.
how could i display latest ID when user submit form and on submit i am switching view to formsubmitted.....
