Displaying % symbol in calculated formula

    Hello all

I'm brand new to InfoPath asnd have just started using it. One of the first tings I am having difficulty with is show a % in a calculated field. I've gone in to format in text box properties and tried a few other things but it still won't show as a %

Also is there an easy wat I can stop NaN appearing? I've seen IF statements don't really work like excel.

    Thanks for your help

     Dan

    Hi Dan,

Could you show me the formula that you're using in your calculated field, and is the NaN appearing in your calculated field, or in another area of your form?

    Hi

It's just trying to calculate a percentage difference between 2 fields so

New Amount - Previous Amount / New Amount

NaN appearing in the calculated field when new or previous are empty. I'd like it to be blank.

concat(sum(@NewAmount) - @PreviousAmount div NewAmount, "%") in the calculated field.  That should work to get that percent sign. Replace the NewAmount etc. with the actual field name.

For your NaN problem, you can check out this link.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for your help. I've managed to get rid of the NaN. How can I get rid of the NaN and display a % symbol within the same formula?

    Thanks
