This is most likely a simple Dropdown listbox answer for a repeater section/table issue

I am very new to InfoPath 2010 but have a lot of experience with SharePoint 2010.  Here is the problem,  For simplicity, I will dumb it down.  In the main section is a DDL with it's data source set to a look up list.  In the repeating table/section I have a DDL that I want to populate by the DDL selection in main.  This works for look up values but InfoPath does not like it if the DDL is getting its values from the choice field in the list.  Real world example:

In main: User select 'Printer Problem' from the DDL, in the repeating table user enters a location, another location and another...so on...each one with 'Printer Problem. '.

    Example,

    Site A - Printer Problem

    Site B - Printer Problem

    Site C - Printer Problem

    Site D - Printer Problem

    Any insight would be grateful.

    Hello spsullivan,

Could you clarify "InfoPath does not like it" for me? Are you getting an error message, or is the list not populating with the desired data, with no error message?

    Thank you,
    Heidi

I solved it, used a repeating section, xml datasource, then bound the value entered.  Thanks for you reply.
