    External form submitted through email

Hi, all - I'm pretty new with InfoPath, but I know my way around my computer; I am just unaware of InfoPath's capabilities (and eccentricities). I am looking for a little guidance on how to set a form up.

My need is a form which is filled out by an external agency, submitted through email to my group, where it is reviewed for completion and then used to populate an Access database on our shared network drive.

    Some considerations include:

    - I work for the Canadian Department of National Defence, so any "simple" solutions are hindered by our inability to have an external SharePoint or SQL server available. InfoPath email attachments are not stripped by our mail service, so we've got that going for us, which is good!

    - The forms are pretty big. I'm sure many of your forms are bigger, but I mention it because when I try to make a query in Access to base a form on, it tells me there are too many fields. I can't remember exactly how many right now, but it's in the ballpark of 200.

    - I require attachments in the form. The files would not need to be placed into the database, but the files are needed as part of the process. It seems InfoPath doesn't allow that in email-submitted form - does anyone know a work-around to this?

    - I am using InfoPath and Access 2010.

If anyone can point me in the right direction, I would very much appreciate it. If more info is needed, just let me know!

Thanks forany help you can give!
