I have recently inherited a Sharepoint to help maintain. One of the requests they have is to open the form in a web browser. BUT here is the tricky part I can't seem to figure out. A user will go to the Sharepoint and open the form, it's set up in the Library to open in the browser. They complete some fields and it triggers a workflow. There is a link set up in an email built in the workflow to allow the next in line to open it and complete any missing fields. But the link opens the form in Infopath and not a browser. Is it possible to set up the partially completed form to open in a browser and not Infopath? In the string builder for the link, it shows [%Current Item:Encoded Absolute URL%]
Being completely new to Infopath, I have hit a wall at this point and any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!! :)
