InfoPath Dev

 Hi All,

Please help.

I have a InfoPath form that records requests for general IT access.

I would like to record the individuals name who ticked a checkbox on the form in a text field in the same form.

ie. Manager opens InfoPath form and gives this authorization by selecting checkbox.

IT Admins then open the form and need to see who selected the checkbox in a text field on the same form.

I am not a Dev and have very limited knowledge of SharePoint and InfoPath.

 What version of InfoPath and SharePoint are you using? Is this a browser-based form?

 InfoPath will automatically detect the username of the person who has opened the form, and depending on your answers to my two questions above there are different ways to detect the full name of the user and then record that name in the form when your checkbox is checked.
