How to track deletion of an instance of a repeating section and delete the corresponding entry in a sharepoint list?

I have a repeating section and each instance of the section has a unique id. So I am able to insert and update items to a sharepoint list using the id. However I am unable to track deletion and delete the corresponding entry in the list.
