InfoPath Dev

I want to be able to change my data connection based on the result selected from a drop down box.  For example, my form has departments listed in a drop down box.  I have a data connection set to send the form via email.  I want to be able to send the form via email to the supervisor of a particular department based on the department selected in the drop down list.  I'm self taught and new with InfoPath.  Any help would be appreciated!

Welcome to InfoPathDev! For your dropdown list box, are you using an external list? The easiest way to accomplish the above would be to use a SharePoint list. In the list you would have 2 columns: Department and Manager Email. For information about how to use a cascading dropdown, look at this post for more information.

 Then use the Filed (Manager Email) in your email data connection to send to the correct manager.
