Carige return appear as plain text and not as a new line

in my form i have a rich text field called rtfNav1 that i want to copy to other rich text field, now when rtfNav1 contain carige return e.g i write maya then "enter" the text is displayed as "<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">maya</div>
<div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml"> </div>"

my code:

Dim doc As XmlDocument = New XmlDocument()

Dim elm As XmlElement = doc.CreateElement("div", http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml)

elm = doc.CreateElement("div", "http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml")

elm.InnerText = rtfNav1.InnerXml + elm.InnerText

doc.AppendChild(elm)

rtfNav.AppendChild(doc.DocumentElement.CreateNavigator())

how can i use the "enter" key and it will dispayed as a new line and not as a plain text

i decided to change the rich textbox to textbox and on the Display tab, check “Paragraph breaks”. see complete solution at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2005/03/04/385577.aspx
