The office has just upgraded to everything 2013.
On existing and new forms when using the username() function the result has additional unusual characters such as, i:0#.w|ttl\wrightk (it previously just said wrightk). It designer when previewing the form it shows as expected but once on SharePoint for the user to complete the unexplained happens.
