InfoPath Dev

Hello:

I have successfully developed an Infopath button form to search and sort (through a series of cascading dropdowns) a Sharepoint custom list and displayresults in a repeating table. But when I try to perform the same process on a Form Library/list, it populates the repeating table with the entire list in Preview mode before I chose any variables from the drop down. It seems InfoPath sees a Sharepoint custom list different from  Form Library/list?

Anyone encounter this scenario? Workarounds? Solutions?

Hi - I'm not sure what an InfoPath button form is? I'm guessing you have your data connection set to query on load in the form that isn't working the way you anticipate.
