Set a control in Repeating table

    HI,

My problem is that each line in repeating table has a copy line button which copies the current row values and populate the same below to it.The issue is that in the newly copied row i have to set a remove button.

The remove button should be visible only in the copied row , not in the original row from which the row has copied.

    Could you please help me.

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

I think that having a boolean hidden field along the row called isCopied which is set to "true" if a row is copied is probably the easiest way for you to determine hide or show values for the remove button. Is this approach not possible for you?

    Hi donstephen,

    Thanks for ur reply.

The problem is that I want to set remove button only in the copied row.By using hidden check box, when a row is copied the button is set in the same row not in the copied row. I hope you understand the issue.

    Hi,

On a previous thread, we were discussing inserting rows and copying values which I am assuming is related to this topic. If you already have found an approach for copying a row's value and inserting it to the next one, then applying the same approach to the hidden field and set the value to true should also work - having this field set to true indicate that the button should be shown.

    Hi donstephen,

Thanx for your reply.I got the solution for copy the row values to next one.But the problem with the code that i use is that , the value of first row is only getting even if i click on other rows. But the clone function works properly. That is the current rows value is get populate in the next row.But when i am trying to retreive the current row values, its not working.

    Many thanks
