    Another Code Editor

Can I use another code editor instead Visual Studio. (Like for example VB Scripts in Excel...)

    Hi Alexander,

I haven't heard of anyone using the VB Scripts editor from Excel. I think the only two options are Visual Studio for managed code or Microsoft Script Editor for unmanaged code. Visual Studio is pretty awesome - I wouldn't want to use anything else!

Yes. But what about the end-user, who want to add some buisness logic in form and he hasn`t any expirience working in VS ??? All that he has is just Infopath client and browser. So can I integrate Infopath with other script builder ???

Microsoft Script Editor supports VB. InfoPath 2003 supports VB script. You can use another VB script editor to create the vbs files but you will have to manually integrate. There might be a way to change the registry to make your script editor the preferred one, but I'm not sure that would work since InfoPath assumes MSE.
