Reply Contact Hi All, I apologize in advance if this is not the right place to ask this questions. I just recently discovered Infopath for the first time today and am finding it extremely useful and extremely frustrating at the same time. I created a form with search boxes. The user enters some search criteria, clicks a button and then the data is pulled from a Microsoft access database and automatically prefill 2 lines. The first line is the data that was pulled and cannot be edited. The 2nd line is the same data pulled on the first line but it can be edited. The idea is for the user to be able to see the data on both lines and make a change on the second line. That way to 2 lines can be compared. I have all this figured out already and it works great. The problem I'm having is I need to be able to collect this data. I assumed it would be very easy to just create and access table and once the user clicks submit the data gets added as a new record to a blank table. Is there no way for me to do this? I would try sharepoint but my company does not have that at this time. All i want to do is collect the 2 lines of data in an access table on 1 line. Any help would be appreciated. Reply Contact Was there a message as to why submit was not enabled? Generally, if the form is based off the DB, and there is a column type in the DB table the form can't submit to, you get a message in the last window of the data connection wizard.
