Slow Performance in my Infopath Form

Good day all, I have a few infopath files that are running extremely slow. Now, other files cominig from the exact same master are running perfectly. I have done a number of things to try and figure out where the problem is comeing from with no solution. So... if anyone has any suggestions why this is happening in a select few docs, i would greatly appreciate!!! Do give you an example to how slow; In a numbered list field, when you hit enter to move onto the next one it takes anywhere from 1 to 2 minutes before the next numbered line shows up? So, I am really looking forward to your input and I will thank you ahead of time :-)

how much data is being pulled into the form and drop-down lists? Please do a search in these forums on performance. There have been a number of good discussions on this subject already.

I did do a search, but it really didn't help me. Now I know it's not the data because I have one that has 18,808 Characters in it and that is one of the forms that are running slow, but another form that has 28,248 characters in it and run perfectly normal.

Maybe that will give a little more clarity?

Have been racking my brain trying to figure this out... please all, just make suggestions on this I can troubleshoot!!!!

    Thanks!!!

Microsoft has a performance tuning document for InfoPath. Try searching MSDN. Maybe Greg knows the link.

This page lists the "Improve the Performance of InfoPath 2003 Forms" article but I get a 404 error when clicking the link:

Slow Performance in my Infopath Form

Well everyone... it is me again.  With reading some of the posts here on performance, I could not really get a handle on this issue.  This is such an nnnoying thing to have cause now I have my staff having to transfer the information into a word document.  I tried the link above, but like he stated there is nothing there.  I just do not understand how one forms works great and the othere is horribly slow, when they are being processed the same way.  I guess you could say that I am begging and very desperate on what I need to do to eliviate this situation.  Since I am not a programmer and designed the form from infopaths default controls, i really do not know what I am looking for.  PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Thanks!
