We have thousands of forms referring all that template. Now we url of address is to change...so it means that thousands forms in the users' pc cannot be opened in future? Or the template locally saved by InfoPath will be used to open the forms? New PCs will not be able to open old forms? What a mess this InfoPath! :) 01-16-2007 03:31 PM In reply to Greg Collins Joined on 08-07-2006 Posts 2,126 Re: Manteinance of old forms Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer... Reply Contact I guess that is one advantage of having an installed form... It is URN based instead of URL based--meaning, if the name stays the same, the forms will still open.I believe there are tools that can be run on the local forms that will allow them to be updated to the new URL. Reply Contact Yes, but I supposed that even if the address of the template is changed, the old forms referreing to it can be opened, becouse the template is automatically saved locally...isn't it?Can I copy the template saved locally from one pc to another one? 01-16-2007 11:19 PM In reply to Patrick Halstead Joined on 08-07-2006 Posts 5,112 Re: Manteinance of old forms Mark as Not AnswerMark as Answer...
