    Watermark inside textbox?

Hello! First time user here. I've done some searching and tutorial reading and I can't find the answer to this question: Is it possible to add a watermark to a textbox? Rather than use a text header explaining what is in the box I'd like to place a watermark icon behind the text inside the textbox. Is there a way to do this?

Hi Nathan356 and welcome to our forum!
You can add it to the view using a CSS but haven't heard of how to do it for a textbox.

    Patrick,
Thanks for the tip. Maybe that will work for me. I'm not sure what you mean by add it to the view though. Do you have an example file that demonstrates this?

From the file menu, you can extract the form files. Then, open the view*.xsl in notepad and search for the CSS. You should be able to add an image to that, but you'll have to understand how to edit HTML and XML.

    Good luck!

Please note also that this change may not round-trip through the designer. Editing the XSL manually is risky. We avoid it like the plague. :) When we do use it we must safely quarrantine :) using inline comments (hidden expression boxes) or verbatim blocks as defined in the SDK.
