GetUserProfileByName doesn't return logged in user.

    Hi,

My GetUserProfileByName returns the details for the user who's credential's I have in the udcx and not the logged in user's, I hadn't realised before as up to now I was using my credentials and only just got a specially created credential to use in my udcx files.

Have I missed something ? How can I get the currently logged in user's information please (is there any other way than using that service perhaps ?)

    Regards

    Jacqui.

You can do it this way - http://samsharepoint.wordpress.com/2013/04/30/infopath-get-the-current-user-without-writing-code/

As far as I know we all pretty much used it from this site - http://blogs.microsoft.co.il/blogs/itaysk/archive/2007/04/05/InfoPath-_2D00_-Get-the-current-user-without-writing-code.aspx . Yet it seems to be down missing. If you use wayback when you'll be able to view a copy I suspect.
