As far as I know, there is actually no maximum limit defined is unbounded which means you can pretty much enter as many records as you like, but in reality there is always some limit. As your page size grows, at somepoint you may get performance issues / unresponsive page or exceptions. Another problem which you should consider when dealing with hundreds or thousands of rows is its readbilitty. I would suggest using an alternate shading formatting rule and set up a paging logic so it would be easier to read. Hope this helps.
