Just a bit of background... I was working on Vista and IE7 I created an form deployed it as a content type it was working fine. I was upgraded to windows 7 and IE10 I made a change to the form (added a text box) and the contact selector control started to make the form only open in client not in the browser as it was previously working.
I removed the contact selector republished the form and it reverted back to opening in the browser. Now if I try to add the contact selector back in to the form it just comes up with an outline of the control with a black x in it!!
I really do not want to have to rebuild this form! please help.
May be worth noting that we are also going to go through the upgrade to SP2013 in the next few weeks, will this affect the form also?
