All,
This is my first foray into Excel Web Services in conjunction with InfoPath form.
I want to achieve the following - use the values in an InfoPath form to update an excel spread sheet, then show an excel graph in InfoPath. like this.
I've followed the following the msdn blog here after struggling with my own spread sheet and values. This example is now working as expected i.e my Field A(InfoPath) sends a value to Excel, excel does a calculation ("CellB"+50) and returns the new total into Field B (InfoPath)
I've seen the Channel 9 video by Hilary.
I created a rule to at least show my default chart (Chart1) in my InfoPath form. Therefor my url is correct to the chart image
Yet for the life of me I can't write the (concat?) formula to take my new value i.e Field A (100)+ CellB(Excel) and show me the new graph I..e 150 as my total.
Once I crack this I'm pretty certain I can apply it to my own spreadsheet/form.
Thanks
W
All over the web, people are saying yes, you can use Excel web services, this is what EWS can return, yet how to's seem to be thin on the ground.
