repeating table open up without any rows

    Hello,

I have been researching how to open up a form with several repeating tables but make sure that one of them begins without any rows.  This means that I don't wish to set a global option.

Other people have said that you can accomplish this by setting a default value in the repeating table properties dialog.  However, I have tried just about everything I can think of in this area and nothing so far accomplishes my goal.

I've also read a solution where you put a button near the repeating table and code behind the button.  However, I don't want the user to have to do anything to begin this repeating table with no rows upon start up.

Does anyone have any idea how to open up a form and have one of my repeating tables not have any rows?

    Thanks,

In IP 2010 / 2013 - Under the data tab in the ribbon find the Default button. In the defaults, deselect the repeating group you do not wish to have appear in a new form.

For 2007 I think this option is under the Tools menu.

    Hilary,

Thanks for the help!  I understand how to do it now...
