Combining multiple expressions in one conditional formatting rule

    Hello,

I recently started using SharePoint/InfoPath 2010 and I am at a stopping point trying to apply multiple conditional formatting rules to a control box. The control box is a text box so the formatting should work. I am creating a checklist that tracks task that are due based on a specific date. For example, a project completion date is April 10th 2014, since we are in the thirty day window, I would like for the control box to show as "green". Fifteen days prior to the 10th, I would like for the box to show as yellow, then a couple of more date rules with different colors on them. I hope someone has any tips or suggestions with my little dilemma.

    Thank you,

You can try adding the following conditional formatting:

Condition: DueDate [Is less than] (Use a formula...) addDays(today(), 10)
    Formatting: Shade box orange

Condition: DueDate [Is less than] (Use a formula...) addDays(today(), 15)
    Formatting: Shade box yellow

Formatting rules are applied in the order they are listed and the first one that passes its condition is the one that will be used, so you'll need to think about which ones need to override others and list them first.
