    General advice - list manupulation

    Morning friends...

Not really looking for an exact "how to" but I would not stop you if you offered... but I am trying to figure out how to take information gathered from one list to "manipulate" and either repost as a new view of the same list or post into a new list...

Here is the simple little project...

I have created a simple infopath form that allows end users (students) to post information about books they have read. Information gathered from this form is gathered into a list (students first and last Name, book tiles, book genre- fiction, non fiction, date read, etc...) now, for each book read, the student gets "1 point".

While I can successfully post this info into a list and see the information about the 3 books Johnny has read or the 4 that Susan has read.... Is there a way to take this information and create a "standings" to indicate who has read the most books?

Any advice or information is greatly appreciated!

    Thanks - Blu

You could try this - http://www.wonderlaura.com/Lists/Posts/Post.aspx?ID=200 then sort by Count Number column.
