    Problem while filtering dropdownlist ..

    Hi All,
Please go throught above mentioned scenario.
There are two dropdown list in the form template whose browser compatibility is enabled(Checked).
    1)State dropdownlist
    2)City dropdown list
Both dropdown are populated using Share point server 2007 custom list.
My concern is i want to filter city dropdown list based on selection
    made on state dropdown list.

I can achieve the same if browser compatibility is unchecked by using filter data option but not in case of browser compatibility is checked because filter option is not acceptable for the same.

please provide me the input for the same.

    regards,
    kamlesh

    Hi Kamalesh,

The Office Server supports most of the features of the InfoPath rich client. However, some features are not supported, including the use of scripting languages, roles, custom task panes, filters, and some controls.

You can perform filtering by making use of webservices.

Because you can't use dynamic filters, you have to requery the dataconnection to have it filter on the backend.

    Hi Kamlesh,
Office Form Server doesn't allow dynamic filtering which and that was a big omission in my opinion. Our Qdabra Web service (BASIC version is free) supports filtering a database but not SharePoint lists.

I think you able to do this by web-service of Sharepoint and CAML.
For example, when you choose something in combobox1, you make some query to SPLists and put incoming data to combobox2...
