Hi Everyone,

I have a browser-enabled form template published to a SharePoint server. I'm providing my users (with Contribute permissions) the URL to directly access an instance of the form. The users do not get to see the SharePoint environment, and I do not wish they do during this whole process. When the form is submitted successfully, I want the browser window to close.

But right now when the form is submitted successfully, the form closes alright, but somehow the browser window redirects to the SharePoint form library page.

I've configured my submit option to "Close the Window" when submit is successful.

I designed the form template in InfoPath 2007, and the users do not have it on their machines. So the solution has to be Web based.

If you can control where the users go after the form is submitted you could change it to anywhere. Once they got to this other page you could run some JavaScript that would close the current window.

Since you probably don't have this option, try opening the view that they are switched to in SharePoint Designer and adding the JavaScript that way. You could check the referrer and see if you can tweak it to only close when coming from the form so when you legitimately go to the library the window doesn't close!

I am working on a browser based infopath form and i trying to close the form once after it is submitted. I have created a new Submit button and I am submitting the form using dataconnection.execute() method. I like to close the browser or redirect it to the library. Could you please let me know the code for closing a infopath form in browser? Thanks.
