On my data connection I need to select the checkbox 'Include Data for the Active Form Only' unless anyone has a work around to achieve the same result. The problem is I can select it and everything works perfectly apart from the Version History will not work for the SharePoint item if this is checked.
The error when I try to open a previous version says:

This is very frustrating as I have solved about 10 simplex (simple & complex!) problems and this is the last!
