I am working in InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2010. I created a form that includes three interconnected cascading fields. The fields are working nicely. Once I published the form to SharePoint I noticed that the column was showing the selection's internal name and the the English Display text. I have been unable to find a solution. Strangely this is new because in the lead-up to creating the final form I had not noticed the "quirk".

I simply want SharePoint to show the true English selection for each column/field. I tried creating different views in the hope SharePoint would translate but it will not. I would appreciate any guidance to solve this problem. Thank you in advance for the help.

This is probably happening because the drop-down list uses an internal value for the Value and a different display name. Would it be possible for you to add a Lookup column to SharePoint? This should display the matching Display Name to the internal value. Hope this helps.
