I have a data connection to the document library an InfoPath form writes to so that I can increment the form number. On my NumID field, I can set a condition on the NumID field to see if any NumID's currently exist by [Number of occurrences of NumID is greater than 0]; however I added a new field to the form and I also want to increment the Certificate Number, but when I select this field, the number of occurrences option is not available, nor are any of the other 4 options usually available. I have already published and promoted this new field.
Another anomaly is that if I select this new field (CertNum) as part of a formula, instead of showing something like [max(CertNum) + 1], I see [max(_66eccc56_242a_4711_9bf0_8f7746fd568d) + 1].
What am I missing? Why is "number of occurrences" (or "sum of all occurrences," etc.) unavailable for this field. I added another field, a checkbox as well, and it acts the same way.
