    Best practices: database on sharepoint?

I created a form with infopath that uses a msaccess database. The form will be published on sharepoint, but what is the most logical location to put the msaccess database file? In the dataconnections of the form, the databasebase location has an absolute path ( a network share ), so, not relative to some 'place'.

What is best practice in such circumstances?
Stick with its location and grant access to all users that need to use the form?

I don't think you will be able to store the MDB in a SharePoint document library and work with it. You will need to keep that file on a reqular network share.

InfoPath 2007 has what's called a Universal Data Connection file (UDC for short) that allows for easy deployment in situations like this. Basically if you have several databases, then when you are ready to deploy you simply change the UDC file instead of the data connection in the form.

Nice option. It this way I do not have to change the data connection. We still don't have 2007 in production environment, but I will try it in my 'sandbox'.
