uploading InfoPath 2010 sandbox browser form

I hoping that there is solution for this, I am uploading InfoPath template with Qrules it publish fine since I have site administrator privilege however I am getting this error- The custom code in the form cannot be run. This functionality may be deactivated on the server. For more information, contact the server farm administrator. I really don't won't to upload as admin approved form as I would have to have site admin approve every time I make change. Is there some feature that I can have the administrator activate or change to make it run as sandbox

Re: uploading InfoPath 2010 sandbox browser form

    Hi-

In order to publish a form that contains qRules (or code) to a SharePoint form library, two requirements must be met:

    1. You must be a site collection administrator.

    2. The Sandbox service must be active on the server. To do this:
    a. On the home page of the Central Administration Web site, in the System Settings section, click Manage services on server.
    b. On the Services on Server page, in the Server box, select the server on which you want to enable sandboxed solutions.
    c. In the Microsoft SharePoint Foundation Sandboxed Code Service row, in the Action column, click Start.

For more info, see this article: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff535780(v=office.14).aspx

Please let us know if the information above helps to resolve the publishing issue.

I would check the Design Checker in InfoPath, but the error message does seem to point out a server issue and not a form issue. Worth checking though, just to make sure.

You could have the server admin check the SharePoint logs for the time you were trying to publish, see if there is more info there.

    Hi,

Can you attach your XSN? (if you'd prefer to email it, you can send it to support at qdabra dot com)

This error may come up if you're publishing directly to a form library (sandbox) but have injected using the Admin-deploy option in the qRules injector.

We'll check your form if you can send it. Thanks!

Re: uploading InfoPath 2010 sandbox browser form

    Hi Ernesto,

I am having the same issue - an InfoPath form injected with Q-rules 5.1 for sandbox 2010.   It publishes fine.  It is published to a document library.  It runs in the client fine.  When running in the browser I get the same error as shown above.

I am the Site collection administrator.  I have other browser based sandboxed forms running on the server.  I have stopped and started the sandboxed code service on all of the servers in the farm.

I get the error on opening the form.  the Form then displays and appears to work correctly until I visit a field which has rules which access Q-rules command line.

Do you have any other ideas for things that I can check ?

    Hi Catharine,

My only hunch is that the form was injected with the Admin deploy option then sandboxed, or vice-versa (injected with the sandbox option, then admin-deployed).

If you can, please contact us via our support email and we can take a closer look at your form.

    Thank you.

    Hi Ernesto

Would that involve cost ?  If so I would need to get approval from my manager first.  If I export the source files is there anything I could be looking for ?

    Hi, Catharine -

I tried your form on one of our servers, and it sandboxed w/out an issue. I took a look at the log you sent and see the same errors - have you tried this with just any command? Like GenerateGuid?

    Hi Hilary,

I have tried creating a blank form with just GenerateGuid in the on loading.  I have published that to the same location and that works fine.

On the form which is having the problems, I have disabled all the "finishedLoading" rules and re-published.  I am still getting errors - fewer of them...

I guess what I was trying to find out was what qRules command is being executed when you get the error?

Re: uploading InfoPath 2010 sandbox browser form

I have disabled all the q-rules that are based on finished loading.  I have also removed all the default values.

I have looked at the  rules inspector and checked that any rules that may change the QdabraRules/Command field are disabled- i.e. I have tried to eliminate commands firing on opening of the form.  I have disabled any rules on buttons. My theory was that if I switch everything off - the form would hopefully load without error and each item could be added and the form tested - to analyse the source of the error.

I have also loaded Q-rules 6.1 so I have history of commands run (love that feature !)

I have managed to load open the sandboxed form and run it from the server.

I have enabled the rules a couple at a time and re-published.  After 20+ versions I have discovered that the "straw that breaks the camels' back" is a rule on a picture button which has the following command concat(xdUser:get-UserName(), " ", translate(xdDate:Now(), "T:-", ""))

This button is obviously not clicked on open... so the rule is not fired by the button - so I guess there is something wrong with the format ?

I can reproducably activate and deactivate this one rule and cause the sand boxed form to fail.

    Any ideas ?

    Thank you

    Catharine

Re: uploading InfoPath 2010 sandbox browser form

So - the rule is setting another field? What field? I ask because you say it has the command, but it doesn't appear that the rule is setting the command field in qRules.... We had a form the other day that would not sandbox because a rule had an XPath in it that was malformed - even though it would validate, the form wouldn't sandbox.
