InfoPath 2010 Web Form Submit to Outlook Text Box Formatting

Hi there. I have a web form with a text box that can collect an essay (potentially several paragraphs). This form then emails the admin. The problem is with the Outlook format of the text box. If the control is a text box, then Outlook only displays some of the content, cutting off the text. A rich text box displays well in Outlook, but has a terrible user experience in non-IE browsers. I tried using a text box to collect the data, then displaying and sending the print view with a rich text box with the default value of the regular text box using XPath - this displays all of the data, but eliminates the paragraph breaks. How can I display all of the text inputted into a text field in the email submitted by an InfoPath web form, while still having a proper user experience on all browsers?
