In my InfoPath 2010 form, a user will enter a Part Number in a text field and then click a button. This button has a rule associated with it that performs a query using a secondary data connection against a SharePoint list. All list items matching this Part Number will then display in a repeating table on the form. Any number of records may be returned (1-10+). This is working fine.
Since the user may not want to display all rows that are returned, I would like to provide them the ability to remove/delete rows of data in the repeating table they don't want to see. With this functionality, the user would NOT be updating/deleting any data in the SharePoint list. Just removing it from the InfoPath form's repeating table.
I thought this ability would be possible by accessing the repeating table properties, Data tab, Default settings - "Allow users to insert and delete rows" checkbox. Unfortunately, this checkbox is greyed out and unchecked by default.
Is there a no-code solution available that provides this funtionality to the user? Am I missing a setting somewhere? If a coded solution is necessary, what would be involved? Unfortunately, I'm not a .NET/ASP/XSL programming guy.
Thanks in advance for any information.
