Greetings,
We are running Infopath 2010 form services on a single-server Sharepoint 2010 farm. We have a large order form that users can take anywhere from 10 minutes to over an hour filling out, and sometimes the users are getting a session termination error when they go to save or submit the form. (We have custom save and submit buttons on the form, so they can save their work when they are doing long entries) It is intermittent and does not appear to be isolated to any single user, group or location.
This is the ULS entry for the error that gets generated when the user submits or saves the form (form name and request Url edited):
Exception occurred during request processing.
(User: , Form Name: xxxxxxx, IP: , Request: https://(server)/(site)/_layouts/FormServer.aspx?....., Form ID: urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:infopath:xxxxxx:-myXSD-2011-02-21T19-56-58, Type: InfoPathLocalizedException, Exception Message: For your protection, the current session has been terminated due to inactivity.)
No other related errors or info in the ULS logs or Event Logger. I'm noticing that the User field is blank in the log, making me wonder if this has something to do with security. Has anyone else run into something like this?
