    Sharepoint List / CAML Template

    Hello,

    Thanks to http://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=7bc880f391b84ea9b3b45c6fbecc07c6 this tutorial i was able to build a infopath form which submits data into sharepoint events.

    It works well but it only works when you don't fill in a date. How do i get this form working with a date? I prefer to have a date chooser like this:

    With info path i can click to change the field but then all the other fields get also a date chooser.

    How do i get this working. I think i have to change the CAML template some how. I couldn't find anything with google.

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Batch OnError="Continue">
    <Method ID="1" Cmd="New">
    <Field Name='Title'></Field>
    <Field Name="EventDate" Type="DateTime" Format="DateTime"></Field>
    <Field Name="EndDate"></Field>
    <Field Name="Description"></Field>
    <Field Name="Location"></Field>
    </Method>
    </Batch>

    Thanks!

    To do this I actually started with a blank form, and add the controls as I like them. then I submit via code and have the code programatically create the xml document and submit it to the web service.

    here are some cool links.

    Hello neoware and welcome to the InfoPath forums,

    Select date picker control for EventDate and EndDate fields instead of text box control
    Steps to do this:
    1. Draw a custom table with number of rows and columns required
    2. Drag text box control into the fields where to enter the text
    3. Drag the Date picker control to the fields where to enter the date

    Hope this helps you!

    Hi neoware,

    I like the pictures, but I don't quite understand what your problem is. It looks like you are able to get a date picker control working on any of the fields you like, so I don't know what your problem is. Is there an error thrown when upon submission when you use date picker controls? If so, could you paste this for us, with English translation please :)?
