Thanks. Unfortuately I only have excel csv files to work with, not xml spreadsheets (our IT department won't give me anything else). Would I have to write a program, any help would be appreciated. Bascially row 1 contains headers like customer name etc and in the cell below (i.e. row 2) contains the specific info:

    e.g.
    Order number___Customer______Site____________Country
    3213___________XYZ corp______Allentown_______UK

I have the fields for customer name, site and country in my infopath form and I want to automatically get them from excel. Also the csv file name is ordernumber.csv, so in the above example that would be 3213.csv, so I want infopath to choose the correct csv file based on the order number (which is entered manually into infopath) and then get the relevant information from it.

It's probably going to be more trouble than it's worth to get your form to parse a CSV file - could you setup something in Excel to convert it to XML?
