    Message on clicking disabled button

    Hi,

I have a submit button which is disabled when the text boxes above it are empty. I would like some sort of message to appear if a not too bright person tried to click on it while it was disabled, it would say something like 'please fill out the text boxes above', is this possible?

I don*t know if its possible to do it while the button is disabled. But if you enable the button and write a if-clause ( if box1 == ""; {...} ).

    hope that was helpful

    Hi Turnipboy,

If you want to show message when button is disabled, you need to add one section above the button and say message “'please fill out the text boxes above'”. And you need to add reverse condition as you disabled the button. It will automatically show this message whenever button is disabled.
Whenever you fill all the data then this section will hide and button is enabled.
