InfoPath Dev

I have InfoPath 2010 and SharePoint 2007 and NO SharePoint Designer.... It is amazing the workarounds and cookbook things we can do with InfoPath BUT this one has my stumped...

I have 10 classrooms and I need to build a calendar to schedule and display classroom use time.

I would like Users to Request a time slot, the calendar to deconflict with that specific classroom time slots,... and then populate a Calendar....

I am OK with using a combo of List and Calendars..... etc...

Anyone have some suggestiions... Upgrading and using Designer is are not options....

Since you can't use SharePoint (SP) designer your options might be somewhat limited if you want to use InfoPath. I'm not even sure if you can use an InfoPath form to update a SharePoint calendar item.

I don't have SP 2007. I use 2010. So this may or may not work.

 Yet 2007 does have a calendar list option. Why not use one of those instead?

You might need somebody to turn on a feature or two i.e. Group Work Lists.

You could list your classrooms as Resources.

Thank you! But it looks like the Work Group Lists and Work Group Calendars are only in SP 2010.

It would be nice if there was just a Calendar solution.. I was hoping that using INfoPath might provide the deconfliction capability. Thanks Again! Anne
