When you get members of a group you can flag the query to retrieve nested members, i.e. members of groups nested in the group you are expanding. Is there a way to return the groups themselves, i.e. w/o members. Is there a way to identify at what level the nested group exist or it's parent group?

The ADWS GetMembersOfGroup method indeed only returns the members of a specified group. I think that you may be able to accomplish returning all the groups by creating a dummy user account in Active Directory and adding that user to all of your groups. After doing this, you can then use the GetGroupsForUser method specifying that user's alias in the query.

I do not need to enumerate all group in the Active Directory but all groups within a parent group.
