Using IP2010.
I have a Section that is 912px wide and contains a 4 row Table that is 908px wide. In the first row of the Table I have a 3 column Repeating Table; column 1 = 36px, column 2 = 54px, column 3 = 815px. The Repeating Table has a header.
In the first column there is a Text Box that is Read Only. The second column has a Text Box, and the third column has a Combo Box. Font size 12.
All Sections, Tables, Repeating Tables, Text Boxes, Combo Boxes, etc. have the Margins and Padding values set to 0px where possible except the Combo Box has a bottom Margin of 1px. The Page Setup Margins are all set to 0.75 inches.
When a selection is made from the list in the Combo Box in column 3 of the Repeating Table the selection is highlighted in blue, which is normal, but the screen shifts to the left so that the left edge of the Combo Box is at the left limit of my screen so that I can no longer see the first two columns of the Repeating Table. This forces me to reposition the screen each time I add an entry to the Repeating Table.
This happens only when the Combo Box is positioned on the right side of the page. Other places that I have Combo Boxes further to the left this does not happen.
I experimented by adding the same setup again just below the original and I get the same result. I then created a new form and duplicated the same structures and this does not happen.
Why would this happen? From previous experience with these kinds of structural layout problems I fear that this form is "contaminated" and will have to be scrapped. I'd rather not have to redo the many hours of work that I have invested in this so I hope there is a way to trace down the culprit.
Any help is appreciated.
