Auto open and close infopath files in a folder

    Hi,

I have a folder with an ever increasing number of infopath files. The form emails people when they need to do an action, however unless the form is opened each day it will not do anything (I cannot leave it open). How can I get every infopath file in the folder to open and close automatically everyday? If this requires a program (not that great with writing script) I could run this program everyday on a computer with task manager or similar (that should not be a problem).

Why don't you just extract this functionality out of the InfoPath form and put it into an outside program? What your program could do would be to scan the XML of the InfoPath form, determine whether or not an e-mail needs to be sent, and perform the appropriate actions.

I envision this being a simple command line program that could be written relatively easily in Visual Studio. I hope this helps, and please let us know what you figure out!
